Refund policy

Returns

At Rove and Swig, we strive to offer high quality products that will make you a happy, lifelong customer. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, please read these instructions. We accept merchandise returns within 30 days of delivery (see "Non-returnable items" below for exceptions). To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, undamaged, and must contain all original labels, stickers and tags.

 

To complete your return, we require written authorization which is provided to you by us. Email hello@roveandswig.com with the subject "Return [your order no.]". In the body of your email, include your name and reason for return. We will reply with the return address and a return authorization number, which should be noted on the outside of your package or on your shipping label reference number. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer or to any address other than the one provided to you by us via email reply. Returns received outside of our policy (including more than 30 days after delivery to original recipient, sent to a non-approved address, or sent without return authorization) are not eligible for refund. Returns from outside the US must have duties and any other fees prepaid by shipper.

Health and personal care items
Perishable goods such as food, plants/flowers, and magazines
Seasonal/limited edition items
Quantities of 8 or more of a single item (we recommend ordering a sample of the item before placing larger order to ensure your satisfaction)
Items with original packaging and/or stickers removed
Items showing signs of use

 

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If your return is approved (meaning we received the item(s) unused, undamaged, and in the original packaging including all labels and stickers) then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 7 business days.

 

If your order is returned to us undeliverable or due to being refused by the recipient, a 25% restocking fee plus cost of shipping will apply. We cannot issue a refund for items that are damaged while being returned to us.

 

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund after 7 business days after your return package is confirmed delivered, first check your bank or credit card account again.
Then contact your bank or credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello@roveandswig.com.

 

Sale items 
Only regular priced items may be returned and refunded. Sale and clearance items are not eligible for return or refund.

 

Exchanges for damaged/defective/incorrect merchandise
We replace items if they arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect upon delivery. Send us an email within 5 days of receipt of shipment at hello@roveandswig.com with 1) a photo clearly showing the defect, 2) the name of the defective item per your packing slip, 3) your order number, and 4) your name. We will reply with a return label for you to ship the item back to us. You must ship the item back within 5 days of receiving the return label. Depending on where you live, the time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary, usually within 4-10 business days after we receive the defective product back.

Above policy is for the 48 contiguous states US customers only. For orders delivered outside this area, a refund will be issued.

 

Gift Returns
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, the gift credit code will be e-mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver's original method of payment.

 

Shipping
You will be responsible for all shipping costs for returned items, except as noted in exchanges section above. All shipping costs are non-refundable. If your order qualified for free shipping, you will be refunded for your items less our cost from the shipping carrier. You may want to consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.
